Commercial SSDs sit between consumer and industrial: built for equipment that runs continuously but lives indoors. Thin clients, network video recorders, medical carts, kiosks, firewalls and network appliances. Qootec covers the grade across mSATA, M.2 SATA, M.2 NVMe, 2.5-inch SATA and SATA DOM, in MLC or 3D TLC, rated -20°C to 75°C or 0°C to 70°C depending on model, with 2,000,000 hours MTBF and a three-year warranty.

Where’s the line against industrial? Ambient temperature, not duty cycle. A drive in a climate-controlled rack running 24/7 is fine here; a drive in an unheated roadside cabinet is not, and belongs on the industrial grade range.
